The limited edition of our first 7-year-old single malt whisky represents the pinnacle of traditional distilling skills and master craftsmanship in RĂŒdenau. In an online vote, our fans chose a 250 liter ex Pedro XimĂ©nez Sherry Hogshead made from American white oak from three individual casks. Together with a peat-smoked malt content of 2.5% in the mashbill, the result is aromas of walnut, fruit preserved in sweet sherry and warming oak spice, which harmonize perfectly with gentle smoke.

A beautiful balance of sherry aromas and gentle peat smoke with grilled apricots, peaches and some raisins, accompanied by a delicate oak spice with fine walnut notes, sweet forest honey and a light rancio note.
Taste
Full-bodied, powerful and intense on the palate with a wonderful sherry sweetness, juicy fruit notes of peaches, plums and raisins, which harmonize perfectly with the pleasant warmth of oak spice and smoky wood notes and are rounded off by dry ash tones with slightly bitter walnuts.
Finish
The warming blend of walnut notes, creamy fruit jam and fine ash tones lingers for a very long time, accompanied by dry cocoa, subtle oak spice and a hint of rancio.
